I've been trying to scan some old books where the pages have darkened. Greyscale and some tweaking seem to be the best for that rather than black and white scans. I suspect the same would be true for the dustcover since the text there is usually over a picture or at least a colored background. Misha ----- Original Message ---- From: Shelley L. Anyone know the best way to scan the back of a hard-cover book where the book jacket information is usually found? I've tried it on the default settings with k1000 version 11, but my results have been less than satisfactory. Any help would be most appreciated.
