I almost exclusively validate. I am blind. Welcome Marilyn.
You may want to speak (write?) off list to Cindy (the one know on
list as "grandma Cindy). She is one of our sighted volunteers. She
and some others have created a valuable niche for themselves. They
help us work out situations where seeing a page is valuable.
Sometimes this means re-scanning a page. Sometimes it means looking
at a print book and working with another volunteer to make validating
a book possible.
Whatever you decide to do we welcome you and the other new volunteers.
