When I've rescanned fair books all I've done is put in the Comments
field that it was to replace the fair copy in the collection. You get
full credit for those as well as full credit for books that you clean
up to bring up the rating. I've always rescanned though if a book is
fair in the first place, as that takes less time than cleaning up a
book.
