Try this:
Open notepad or some other word processor,
type your password there first,
copy the password to your clipboard
paste the clipboard into the password field,
logon that way,
be sure to erase the original password from notepad or whatever.

I never log out because then I'd have to log in again and putting in email address and password is too easy for me to make a mistake, especially with the password. the keys are too close together
