Hi Mike,
Yes, you're definitely right about that. Forms by their nature are
something that is difficult to make fully screen reader happy. When I'm
engaged in explaining screen reader concepts or going over websites at work,
a good half of my time is dedicated to analyzing forms and explaining
concepts as to how best to code them.
I'm going to try and gather some of these possible/known issues with the
submission process and send them on to the team. I'll also have a look at
how HTML wise the form is layed out and see if there are any obvious
improvements.
Jake

Jake One other note for those having problems finding the error msg. The first time you search for the word "error" you will find that an error has been found. You have to search for the word "error" a 2nd time to find out in which field the error actually exists. I've never had a problem in finding out in which field the error exists using Window-Eyes; of course, figuring out the fix isn't always so straightforward <grin>!! Hopefully, in the 2.0 version of the BookShare software they will make all this more screen reader friendly. This business has caused a lot of folks much frustration.
