Hi Kellie,
 
    Did you try replacing section breaks  with page breaks, in case there
were section breaks instead of page breaks in the file?  Fine Reader inserts
section breaks instead of page breaks and they need to be converted.
 
If you're using Word, in the find box type ^b    In the replace box type ^m
and replace all.
 
That might help, and won't cause any problem if there aren't section breaks
in the file.
