U know, all, I don't think G. Cindy is talking about mere random spelling errors, but things like Mayrie's name, for example, the misspelling of which could potentially cause difficulties. However, G. Cindy, since u wouldn't know this from personal experience, let me just say that all screenreaders have a function that allows us to spell words, not only letter by letter, but also phonetically in case we have trouble differentiating sound-alike letters like b, d, & p. The difficulty arises when the screenreader pronounces a word like Mayrie the same way it would Mary, & therefore 1 thinks 1 knows how to spell something when in fact they don't. Also, many screenreaders pronounce the letter a as uh.
