Hi Lori. I love Kurzweil's "ranked spelling" tool. It ranks all the words it finds so you can tell it to ignore or replace the offending words. You can even edit a word so you can make different changes to the word at different occurrences. I use Kurzweil for both proofreading and reading bookshare books. I have word 2003, but rarely go to it when proofreading. Bob "We know the future will outlast all of us, but I believe that all of us will live on in the future we make," Senator Edward M. Are there advantages or disadvantages to either? Just curious... Hi Gwen, Yes, you can proofread using Kurzweil. I, in fact, do very little proofreading with Microsoft Word, though I can use that software for proofreading as well. I just prefer using Kurzweil. Can a person proof read in Kurzweil? I know most here, use other things that is why I was wondering. __________ Information from ESET NOD32 Antivirus, version of virus signature database 4560 (20091031) __________ The message was checked by ESET NOD32 Antivirus. http://www.eset.com
