[bksvol-discuss] question about garbled text in figures

Dear volunteer list,
If there is a figure on a page (as indicated by text showing the title and
caption), and there is garbled text mixed with numbers, should the garbled text
be deleted? The text takes up just a couple of lines with the rest of the page
being readable. I am sorry if this question has been asked before.
By the way, for looking up possible scannos, searching on Google books works
great. Thanks to whoever mentioned that on list and in the volunteer meeting
yesterday.
