Hi Guys,

I don't have the book any more that had two ISBN numbers but I don't believe either were idendified as paperback or anything. The book may be rejected anyway as I say for some reason or other it went into upload mode while I was worrying about whifch ISBN number to use, so I didn't have a chance to put in the long synopsis.
Oh, what fun!

HI Bud,

What I have started doing since April is proof read each of those poliminary
pages and if need be do a rescan or get some sighted help. I have found, in
general, these are the pages in a submitted book that have more errors.

Often, if not usually, the different numbers are for
different editions or printings, i.e., there's one
number for paperback, one for hardbound, one for
llibrary ed., etc. Usually it will sat pbk or hrdb or
something in parenthese after the ISBN. The problem is
that without the book in hand, you wouldn't know which
to use. But you do have the print books whenyou scan,
don't you, Bud?

Anyway, as others have said, ISBN numbers on the form
are optional. They do help validators who like to use
the exact print book to help with the validation,
though.
