Black on white  HI Bud, 

IF this hasn't been answered you can change the background and text colors
under Display in the settings. I believe by default K1000 is set to white
text on a black background. I hope this helps out

Bud, I don't see it anywhere.  But I am sure that my version 11 reads it, 
apparently by default.  Have you tried it?
