No they won't reject the book. ISBN's are not required, so the book will not be rejected. Several people have already pointed this out earlier.

Hi Linda,
The last I heard, but I can't remember where, the ISBN number is one of those things that are nice to have, but not required. I don't think they will reject Bud's book.

Hi, Bud. They probably will reject it unless your book gets a validator who is willing to call their local librarian and find out what the ISBN number is for your book's particular publishing.

Sounds logical to me Linda, but I have already sent it off so I wonder if they will accept it with no ISBN number.
Thanks.

Hi, Bud. I had a book like that recently, and there were two ISBN numbers because the first one was from an earlier publishing of the book by a different publishing company. It might be safest to use the second ISBN number for this reason.

Hi Gang,

I just sent a note about a book that I just uploaded. Somehow it got sent off before I got the ISBN number entered. I know they are saying to send the thirteen number one if available. This book had two ISBN numbers but they were both the shorter ones. I don't know why there were two of them but as I say somehow it got sent off before I got either one in it. How does one decide which one to send when they are both the short one with the same number of digits
