What you suggest about reading through for errors makes sense to me
especially since you are working for NLS certification which means you must
be a very good braille reader. Madeleine at Bookshare can probably respond
more specifically to your question.
I usually change the rtf format to docx so it may work just fine to change
to brf; I have never tried it but it would be interesting to give it a try
and see if it converts back to rtf correctly, which is the way they want the
books checked back in.
