Elizabeth. I am not sure what you are describing. Can you give a book where this happens and the format you downloaded the book in please?

Thanks for your little crash course so I'll know what I'm doing. I would
like to correspond with you. Just have a question here. I love reading
cookbooks and have come across some weird stuff when it comes to the way the
BrailleNote recognizes ingredient measurements. For instance, I saw
something that looks like this: "th sign (dots 1, 4, 5 6) in the first cell,
dots 2 5 in cell two, st sign in cell three (representing the slash), dots 2
3 in the fourth cell and dots 3, 4, 5, 6 in the fifth cell. What is that dot
combination in cell 2 supposed to represent? Is it supposed to mean 1-1/2?
How does one correct that? Again thanks for your note. I can't write you as
"Dear E". How should I address you? Write me back and tell me. I look
forward to corresponding with you and I'm going to save your email for
reference purposes. Regards, Kim aka Ellinder.

I validate using the m power all the time. Just put the .rtf of the book on
to the braillenote and edit in rtf without changing formats.
You will be able to read in grade two. If you want to correct a word put
your cursor on it and the word will expand from contracted braille to
letters. You can then edit the word. Punctuation is the punctuation used in
computer braille where period is dots 46, apostrophe remains dot 3 open and
close quotes are dot 5 comma is dot 6 line break is ed sign in one cell and
p in the next page bread is ed sign in one cell and f in the next And so on.
You are welcome to write me at
thoth93@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with questions.
