Hi Sharon. Have you tried the "add new hardware" in the control panel? Sometimes that helps rectify conflicts in the operating system. If that doesn't work, it may be time for a call to the good ol' Kurzy folks. For some reason, my computer is refusing to recognize my opticbook 3600. I'm running windows XP and Kurzweil 11. When I try to scan, kurzy says that no scanner can be detected. The scanner is connected to the computer, and turned on. So, I'm wondering if any of you have any ideas. The strange thing is, when I go into the control panel, and select scanners and cameras, it tells me zero items exist. Yet, the program menu lists the drivers for the opticbook. So, I am very confused, and would appreciate any help that can be offered. Solstice Singer
