  Thanks Bob.  I tried that but no luck.  I also hit Alt with the space bar and 
tried to go to maximize.  First it said size unavailable and maximize 
unavailable.

    Just a guess, but maybe your document is not maximized on the screen. Press 
windows+m and alt+tab until your document comes back up and see if that fixes 
the problem for a while.

      Hello again.  I am reading a book in Rtf in Word 2007 with Jaws.  As I'm 
listening, gling down each line with the down arrow key, all of a suden Jaws 
keeps saying blank line.  I hit the down arrow key a few times.  They I press 
the up arrow and words start being spoken again.  Weird.  Any thoughts.
