Okay Shelly. I'll call Jaws during the next few days and see if they will be helpful.

Ten point font should be fine. This sounds like a FS question and when you get an aswer let us know, as I have struggled with this problem for years. Usually the font causes problems if it is over 36 pt. Shelley L. Rhodes M.A., VRT, CTVI and Guinevere, Golden lady Guide juddysbuddy@xxxxxxxxxxxx Guide Dogs For the Blind Inc. I checked the font size and it appears that it says 10 point font. I checked other lines in the document and it says font 10 point times new roman normal style. Should I change the font in the whole file to12 points or 11 points? Monica Svopa----- Original Message ----- From: "Shelley L. I've noticed in the past that JFW doesn't always like font transition, especially when it goes to a larger than normal one. One of the books I validated recently had the page numbers at the bottom, and they were in a larger font than the rest of the text on the page. The justification may also have entered into it, but I never checked to see if it was left, center, or right. The large font caused issues with the page breaks, forcing some soft breaks to be added, it didn't read well except when I went over it a character at a time, and it made it sound like there were numerous blank lines. It turned out to be a real pain in the ---, as I had to go to the end of the normal text, mark to the end of the page, delete it, in order to make sure I was getting rid of the font change, then go back and add appropriate blank lines and page numbers. Now that I've made a short suggestion long, perhaps you should go to one of these instances and turn on show special characters to see what goes on around that spot. As I'm listening, gling down each line with the down arrow key, all of a suden Jaws keeps saying blank line. I hit the down arrow key a few times. They I press the up arrow and words start being spoken again. Weird. Any thoughts. Monica Svopa No virus found in this incoming message. Checked by AVG Free Edition.
