Hello all,

Some clarification: the converter removes blank lines. Unless there is
something to note that the line is blank (such as an asterisk or three), the
converter will squish the text up. The reason we added three asterisks was to
note that there was a blank line between the chapter title/number and the text,
and we used three asterisk to show that there was not a mistake or random
character. This is also why the asterisks are unnecessary after the page break
but before the chapter title.

As we have stressed before, consistency is key. If you want to note that there
is a blank line in the text between the chapter and the text by putting in
three asterisks, that's fine. If you would prefer to increase the font size to
point fourteen (with the text size at 12 point) and bold the chapter
name/number, this is also fine.

If there is a blank line elsewhere in the text, or if there is a symbol showing
a change in scene, etc., please note this with the use of one or three
asterisks. I would recommend using three asterisks rather than one to make sure
that it is clear that there is a change in the text and not some random
character on the line.

I hope that clears things up!

Best,
