HI Valerie!

I just thought of something! Does your file have page breaks or
section breaks? The steps that I describe assume that your file has page
breaks.

Try this.
In the find box type ^b
(that is the symbol for a section break which many scanning software
packages use instead of page breaks)
In the replace box Type ^p^m^p
Now replace all.

If your file had section breaks instead of page breaks, you will, with this
process convert your section breaks to page breaks and insert blank lines
before and after each page break

I'll bet this works! Because, according to Microsoft, the keystrokes were
not supposed to change from 2003 to 2007 in Word.

Please let us know what happens, okay?

You can always keep a back up of the file and try this on a copy, in case
you're afraid of bad things happening, which I would be, because Word is
Word.

Mayrie

Ann will let us know if I missed any of the other inadvertent changes. Hope
they are not too bad. I hate they no longer support some keyboard shortcuts
and finding lists of them is rough, now. One I used all the time was the
shortcut for save and close on contacts and events, and now I have to mouse
click every time; a royal pain a dozen or more times a day.

Take care!

Valerie
