i'm using word 2010. I increased the page size to 22" there aren't any blank lines on the pages.

Hi,

Don't know if this will help or not, but check your settings to make sure that Split Long Pages is Disabled. Go into the Settings and arrow up or down to Conversion Settings, tab over, then arrow up or down to rtf and check to make sure that Split Long Pages is Disabled. I don't recall what the default setting is there, but it should be disabled.

If that doesn't solve the problem then you've got page breaks in the middles of those pages. K1000 does not creat soft page breaks, so those must be hard page breaks, and if they are left in, Bookshare will count them and that will really mess up the pagination of the book.

You can either remove each of them manually, or reject the book so it can be rescanned properly. It's your call, but they must be removed. I don't think there's any way of doing that with a search and replace operation without removing the legitimate page breaks along with the bad ones.
