Well, I downloaded Inimitable and found the following, using Kurzweil: The Brf file actually started the text on the same page that contained part of the contents and had no page numbers. The daisy file, again on Kurzweil, also had no page numbers, but using the contents and fooling around a bit I found a page the number of which I was certain, indicated that page as definite, and from that point on I was able to ascertain the exact page numbers. Every book is a Rosetta Stone. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tracy Carcione" <carcione@xxxxxxxxxx>

Ken, I can name 2 books I recently validated where I thought I did the page numbers correctly. I would very much like to know if I got it right or not. They don't have 500 pages, though. They are "The Inimitable Jeeves" and "The Catcher from Double A". It is hard to know if one is doing a job right when one never gets any feedback of any kind. TracyFor all this talk, can someone give the name of one book in the current collection of over five hundred pages which has all of the page numbers, in the right places, so that one can use that page number to footnote scholarly research. I would like to see at least one, because almost all of the books I put on the system are mangled so that I can't later use them for my work or research. To unsubscribe from this list send a blank Email to bksvol-discuss-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxxput the word 'unsubscribe' by itself in the subject line.
