Call you Congressman's office and that of your local legislator. They
usually have people doing follow up for folks having issues in their
districts. Also get in touch with local chapters of your state blindness
organizations in some cases. ACB and NFB have members who are layers.
Try
calling their national offices for references. I may be a serious
person. I also get a lot done and take extremely unkindly to being
treated
badly by a government for whom I am paying taxes.

Do you have a lawyer? Amazing how much more likely you are to get action
when you show up with one in tow. There are certainly lawyers who work
with Social Security disability cases.
