With some paper backs we cut them here with a carpet knife.

"Come to the edge"

And they came.

And he pushed them.

And they flew.

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] o.t book binding

Hi,

We were just watching a program on the Science channel about how stuff is
made. They showed how books are bound using all kinds of machinery. In one
process machines take groups of pages and stitch them together with some
kind of steel wire. In other processes the pages are glued to the binding.
It's funny, but bookshare takes apart all that hard work when volunteers
like Carrie chop books to be scanned. Just my thoughts.
