Actually, I wanted to take the brf file, open it somehow and put it onto my braille N Speak to read on my trip this weekend. Can anyone advise as to how I can do this? I'm not sure about Daisy because I'm not familiar with it. I do have Jaws 5.0, an old version of Duxbury for Windows and version 5.0 of K-1000. I'm hoping to upgrade to the latest k-1000 version in a few months when finances permit. Sorry, for the long post and my computer ignorance in advance. There might be some translation errors, and the formatting might look kind of strange, but it can be done. Don't do this if you're planning to resubmit to Bookshare as a replacement, though. I don't know if that's what you had in mind or not, but if it was just for your own personal use and if you don't care about the formatting and don't mind whatever translation errors you might have, go for it. I've done BRF to TXT a few times but not very often, so it just depends on what you want it for. Take care. Julie Morales Life is a gift from God. Can I open a bookshare brf file in k-1000 and then save it as an rtf document? Thanks. Monica
