Here is what I scanned. CONTENTS THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME 9 OF THE YEAR Lauraine Snelling 'TWAS THE WEEK BEFORE 155 CHRISTMAS Lenora Worth except it was a little mixed up. From discussions earlier on this list I put three periods after the ajuthor's name and then the page number with no spaces. Do I need to change it? ----- Original Message ----- From: Valerie Maples To: bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Wednesday, November 11, 2009 8:51 PM Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Re: once upon a christmas Can you send me a scanned page of the Table of Contents so I can see if I can read it for you? The Google glimpse does show a graphic below the words Chapter One etc. Thanks! I could just go by that because kurzweil could be seeing junk. ----- Original Message ----- From: Valerie Maples To: bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Wednesday, November 11, 2009 7:12 PM Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Re: once upon a christmas Since these are Harlequin titles, I am pretty sure the problem is frilly fonts in the chapters titles. If there is no Table of Contents (from which you could hand type and insert below Chapter label), you will need sighted interpretation or proofing with text. Thanks! There is all kinds of junk underneath the chapter and number, just before the first line of the chapter. ----- Original Message ----- From: Rogerbailey81@xxxxxxx To: bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Wednesday, November 11, 2009 6:22 PM Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Re: once upon a christmas How do you know that the chapters are titled? If it is from the table of contents I would think you should be able to get the titles there. If it is from some other source I would think that you could get the titles from whatever source it is. If I could not find chapter titles in the table of contents I think I would assume that the chapters were untitled. The question is this, it is getting the chapter one, two and so on but it is not getting the title of the chapters. I did a search on www.books.google.com but the sections and the page numbers aren't there. Should I let the tittles of the chapters go since it is getting the chapter and their number?
