Thanks Gerald will add this to my list for this and try it. At least for my job
search, I don't think the list is extrememly long. I'm just wanting to pick
from several categories and have the web sites e-mail me the jobs I want so I
DON'T have to live at my computer everynight after work.

  Tina,

In case the other tips don't work and you still want to try, I've been having
success using a different method.

  * Cursor down to the first item which needs to be selected
  * Route the JAWS cursor to the PC cursor using Insert-Minus
  * Now that you're in JAWS mode, use the arrow keys to move the mouse down to
the next item which needs selecting and click it with a Ctrl-/ (the / on the
NumPad)
  * If your list is longer than the screen then you'll need to move up and down
the list using the scroll bar

Not the easiest method to use. Wish I'd known about these other two tips.
Well I know now and will try them the next time I decide to move or delete
multiple files in Windows Explorer.

  Gerald

Hi and thanks for this tip and by the wayy, I am working with jaws 4.5 Jake
reminded me that I forgot to say that. I will try this and I hope it works
because the shift f8 didn't not for me anyway and I'd really wanted to get
these job alerts done today with out having to have someone else do it.

You do hold down the control key, then while holding it down, arrow to the
next item you want to select, then hit the spacebar. then on to the next, and
so on. but you keep holding down the control key until you've selected
everything.

Hi. I am trying to set up e-mail alerts on a few job sites and I can't
figure out how to go through the list boxes and pick multiple items. It says
hold down the control but when I do it on the keyboard, it doesn't seem to pick
more than one. if anyone knows how to do this can you let me know? thanks sorry
guyds, I've been at this all day and am extremely frustrated and feel like I
DON'T know how to get where I want to be.

      Hi Sue,

Not a problem. It's already in the collection, so no one else will have
to validate it.

        Hi All:

I have been working on a book for quite a while and am thoroughly sick
of
it. I find it depressing and am going to release it for someone else who
would not find it depressing. The book is: "The Year of Magical
Thinking"
and the author is Joan Didion. Sorry to be such a lousy spport.

        Thanks,
