If memory and speed are not the issue, then I would recommend installing all
features of the program.  You never know when some feature comes in handy.

i AM PUTTING UP VERSION 9 OF K1000 ON A COMPUTER WHICH IS VERY FAST AND HAS 
A LOT OF MEMORY.  i USE window-eyes and dec32 when not in k1000.  Any ideas 
on which speech engines to install or not?
