It would not be necessary to release the book. If you click the link on your checked out books page that is labeled RTF you can download the unedited original document again. In any case, though, the question does not seem to relate to having deleted pages of text. It seems to be a matter of having deleted page numbers and replacing them with the numbers assigned by the editing software. There may be an easier way of doing it, but I would go through the book page by page and manually change them back.

That would give you an original file from which you could copy the stuff you removed and put it back into the file of the book you are proofreading.

I don't know why I didn't ask if I should keep them in the first place. Can someone tell me how to do it, without having to go back and re-read everything, and to make sure that all the page numbers are in the right place?
I would greatly appreciate any help. Ann To unsubscribe from this list send a blank Email to bksvol-discuss-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx put the word 'unsubscribe' by itself in the subject line. To get a list of available commands, put the word 'help' by itself in the subject line.
