oh. Are the books in the collection? They sound like something I'd like to
proof( not that I don't have enough to do at the moment,, smile or a series
I'd like to read when I finish the Anne Perry book I'm reading now (I just
checked Amazon and I see she's written several mystery series --
Devereaux' Dime Store, Stephanie Daniels ... are they good? fun to read,
clever, not too violent or tense? -- like the Georgette Heyer and and
Marion Chesney mysteries? not, I gather, historical fiction like the
Rosemary Rowe and Anne Perry series,but that's o.k. I like a good
well-crafted mystery smile
I've added her name to my list of authors whose books I want to read.
The two I saw have catchy titles including Murder of a Cranky Catnapper (
of course s a former librarian I'd probably start with the library series

Hi Cindy,
It’s actually from the Scumble River series by Denise Swanson. That
particular book is #16.

Has anyone heard of a Rumble River Mystery series? I was looking up
something in my library and came upon a book entitled The Murder of a
stacked librarian that's part of the Rumble River mystery series. It sounds
like something fun, based on the punny title of the book (and of course "
stacked": could have a couplde of different meanings
