If I recall correctly that was the general feeling, that we wanted the list
to stay as an e-mail list, and Marissa said it looked like she was the only
one who wanted it. So I took that to mean that she is giving up the idea.

Despite the apparent ease of navigation of the message board Guido has
mentioned, I still would not like to see this list be transformed into such
a board. I like getting email rather than going and hunting up a
message board just to read a given list. Immagine how much extra time and
hastle would be involved if each mailing list you were on would be
transformed into one of these boards. I know I wouldn't bother with any of
it unless there were a specific question I was interested in and the board
had an archive that was easily searchable. Perhaps its all a matter of what
one is use to. I love the www for many things. Email is not one of
them.
