Dear Kelly,

Thank you for your, Don't Sweat The Small Stuff, approach to my question about spoken punctuation-smile. Now that I understand what they mean, the m dashes don't bother me at all.

Always With Love,

Lissi

Lissi, that's really up to you. JAWS has some advanced features that allow
users to assign specific punctuation marks to certain levels of when they
will be spoken and when not, but I don't even know how to use that. Anyway,
I doubt that most volunteers have their punctuation turned all the way up so
they won't miss a single stray period. You have to balance a high standard
of quality with making the process reasonably fun for you. If the em-dashes
are making you want to bash your head against the wall, then it's not worth
it and you should turn the punctuation down. <grin> If they don't reall
bother you too much, you could leave it as is. Decisions, decisions!
Kellie
