Just because k1000 has good tools, please know scanning and validating can
be done, and done well, using other software. Lots of people on this list
use Word to validate. Some I am sure use Word Perfect.
Lots of folks use scanning software other than k1000 and Open Book to
create great scans.
In short, there are many ways to accomplish getting great submits and many
ways to validate for bookshare other than using either Open Book or K1000.
