Are you sure that was the reason. Seems a bit extreme for Gustavo. Didn't you put the back cover material in quotes?

That is the procedure I use except for the long synopsis.
Since I scan or validate the book in K1000, and my source material is the
book jacket,
I prefer working in K1000.
My steps are these:

merge the 2 pages

go into the edit menu and cut the page

close the book file without saving

open a new blank file

go into the edit menu and paste page.

Then I have the book jacket ready for editing.

When ready, it is saved as a .txt file ready for cutting and pasting.
