Hi Reggie, So, what will you do for a braille display? I understand the braille display for the PacMate can be purchased by itself. It hasn't been reviewed to my knowledge, but Perkins sells a braille display and APH is coming out with one soon. The price on the Perkins is $2,495, cheaper than any other as far as I know. I hope I'm not confusing anyone. I have used both a Braillenote and Pac Mate. The BN gave me problems with file types not being compatible with the files needed. The Pac Mate has destroyed files on me right and left. I am going back to a Netbook and a braille display. I will have to use Word, which doesn't make me happy, but the whole situation will be much more stable for me. JMO. My question for braille users is what equipment or technology do you find most effective for proofreading books? Write me off list if you prefer. Many thanks in advance, Nancy Martin Oklahoma
