Hi Bud, excuse my ignorance, but what list are you refering to? Is it on the bookshare website? Maybe I should check it before scanning my next book.

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] how to know if a book is on the list

Hi Gang,

I guess I learned something. I sent a book in which wasn't on the list but it bounced back saying it was already on the list. I checked the list again and it still wasn't there, so I checked the advanced listing and sure enough, there it was. My question is, is there some place where we can just check one list to see if the book is already on the list? Does the advanced have all the listings including the normal ones we get when we check in the normal way? It's discouraging to spend hours of time getting a long book ready like that one was only to find that I should've checked into it further before going ahead. I guess after four years or so I am still learning.
