Elizabeth,

I wouldn't say that John hasn't had an impact on Marissa's List, because
Gustavo and Janice no longer have to do customer support, and that frees
gustavo up to do other things, like generating Mariss'a's List. He's
actually been much better about keeping it up to date after John got up to
speed.

Also, we don't know that John isn't the one who compiles the Wish List,
because I imagine he's the one reading all of the messages sent to
volunteer@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx All we know is that Gustavo's the one responsible
for updating the web site.

Gerald

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] how does John's work impact the volunteers?

If John's coming on staff has no impact on the release of Marisa's list in
terms of it being released more often, and if he has nothing to do with
updating the wish list so volunteers can have an idea of what is currently
already being scanned from it, what role does he play relating to volunteer
activity?
