Hi Robert,
Fixing this problem could be rather tricky because the slash may be replacing
not only the apostrophe but also punctuation marks that should immediately
precede it, such as commas or periods. If that's not happening you could
probably replace slashes with apostrophes, but if you are losing individual
punctuation marks you may have to fix these things case by case. If you mean
how do you get Kurzweil not to scan them this way, you might try changing the
brightness setting a little bit one way or the other.
