Try this: Open up Word and go to the Tools menu then Templates and Add-ins.
There's a list of Add-ins with check marks. Uncheck the one you want to
remove, then press the Remove button. Hopefully, all the files associated
with the Add-in will go away when you uninstall the program. Sometimes
determining which Add-in you want to remove is hard because the names are
short and cryptic. The file names are often derived from the name of the
company that made the Add-in, instead of the software.

Good-luck

I know this might be a little off topic, but I thought if anyone could help
me it would be someone from this gang. I got a trial version of OpenBook
last year. I quickly decided that was not the scanning software for me.
There was an option added to the file menu in Word to scan with OpenBook.
How do I get this off my system? I am preparing to get K1K sometime soon,
and I want this thing gone. Thanks.

components, but I just found something I don't know how to get rid of.
