Jill,

can you cut and paste the page in question into a new .kes file and send it
to me privately at pratikp1@xxxxxxxxxx I'd like to take a look at it. What
speech synthesizer are you using with its strange pronunciation?

Pratik

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] help from a Kurzweil user

In the book I am scanning, Kurzweil reads and my braille display shows the
Nemeth percent sign whereas the print shows 1/16 (subscript) and in another
spot reads percent asterisk with the print page showing 1/64. Where would I
go to try to have Kurzweil say and display this differently and, more
important, what should I do to get this to read correctly in the DAISY or
braille formats? I'm counting on there being some perfectionists out there.
Thank you. Jill
