Hi Cindy et al, We don¹t have a policy against doing graphic novels per se, but I don¹t know if scanning would be successful. You¹d want to extract the text only and it may well be rendered in a way that doesn¹t scan as text. In that case, the only option would be for a sighted volunteer to type in all the text in the same order as it appears in the sequential cells. Depending on the length of the novel, that could be extremely labor intensive. It might be worthwhile for Shelley or someone else in Friends of Bookshare to write directly to the publisher and ask for an accessible version of the text.
