[bksvol-discuss] Re: getting rid of tables in Word 2010

I found it, finally, under Layout, then table, then a lot of tabbing around.
Silly me, I thought it would be under Table Tools.

Thanks.

You'll have to explore, but put the cursor inside the table, then press alt
to activate the ribbon. Arrow right to the table layout tab, then tab
through the choices. You should find the choice to convert the table to
text.

I must be losing it. I've forgotten how to get rid of tables in Word 2010.
The ribbons confuse me a lot.

The table of contents in this book is an actual table, which is just silly,
and I want to change it to plain text.
