Hi Cindy. The pages from look inside on Amazon are images, and I'm not sure how a person might handle them. I'm not sure how many experienced Mac users are on this list. You do so much for us, and I wish I could help you. I don't want your request for help to go unanswered. Did you know that several of the Bookshare staff members use a Mac? Some of them are sighted, so they'd know how to do things with a mouse like you do. Maybe if you wrote to Pavi with your question, she could ask one of the Mac users to help you out. This is something you do often, so I think it's worth asking about. Off the top of my head, I know that Megan has a Mac. I know others do too, and my memory seems to be on the fritz at the moment. :( Monica Willyard "The best way to predict the future is to create it." -- Peter Drucker -----Original Message----- From: bksvol-discuss-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:bksvol-discuss-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Cindy Rosenthal Sent: Tuesday, April 21, 2009 10:01 PM To: bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [bksvol-discuss] geetting pages from amazon Does anyone have any idea how to copy and paste a page from Look inside the book with a mac? I'd like it especially when I'm trying to provide someone with a copyright page. Someone sent me some instructions once some time ago but they didn't work. May because they weren't for a mac. Maybe it was you, Jamie. smile Cindy WISH LIST (CALLED REQUESTED ADDITIONS TO THE BOOKSHARE COLLECTION)IS AVAILABLE AT http://www.friendsofbookshare.org/wish_list/wish_list.htm www.lljfm.net/bookshare/home.htm A LIST OF BOOKS CURRENTLY BEING SCANNED IS AVAILABLE AT http://www.friendsofbookshare.org/ www.lljfm.net/bookshare/home.htm --- On Mon, 4/20/09, Jamie Yates <mirxtech@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: > From: Jamie Yates <mirxtech@xxxxxxxxx> > Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Re: Cherry Ames, Student Nurse > To: bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Date: Monday, April 20, 2009, 7:49 PM > Thank you, Cindy for the idea!
