I don’t have a braille note anymore, as I’m not in school anymore, but I have a
VarioUltra 20 which I can either use with the Mac, iPhone, or Linux command
line.

I recognize you from the BN list! If you still have a BrailleNote, I
find it easier to proofread in Braille, so you can actually see
firsthand, instead of just hearing, punctuation, spelling, grammar,
line spacing around pagination, etc and recognize errors faster. I
might just be better with Braille, but just a suggestion. If you're on
an Apex, you can press the Previous and Next thumb-keys together until
you see Editing as the display mode. This will allow you to see more
advanced formatting, placing indicators around text that is italicized
or bolded, as well as print line breaks, so you can ensure words are
not split. Then, you could transfer books to your Mac to check font.
