RFBD produces books on cd with are only accessible on their proprietary
software or stand alone players. One of these is Eclipse reader. Anybody
ever use it?
They claim documentation comes on the cd. Everytime I try to access the
documentation using Windows Explorer, the installation starts up. I cannot
get a reading of what is on the cd. Any ideas?
I notice I got two cds for the Eclipse produce. Both came in a flimsy
cardboard envelope in celophane wrappers with a coupld of index card sized
pages of braille included. No labels on the cds which I guess is
understandable since they did not come in a case on which a braille label
can be stuck. One cd seems to be the voices.
By the way, I have used computers for over twenty years. I wonder how the
novice would find using this product in terms of ease.
