Before you delete the duplicate pages, make sure the book does have all the pages. I've come across actual books where several pages were repeated in place of the pages that should have been there. For example, the book might have had pages 10, 11, and 12, then 10, 11 and 12 again, then the next page was 16. Duplicate pages are not always a scanning error.

Hi everyone,

I am working on a book which has some duplicate pages. What should I do with them? My first impulse was to delete them, as this duplication can happen easily when scanning if you lose track of what you are doing. What do you all think?
