I did not say to keep exact view on. I said to keep the recognize columns setting on in Open Book. And, no, it doesn't say anything about eliminating line breaks. If it had I would not have taken so long to figure out what I was doing wrong. It's just that if you scan a book with the recognize columns setting off the line breaks will be inserted after each and every line.
