The footnote info on the Bookshare site indicates that a dagger is not
recognized and should be replaced with asterisks. That is, the sequence of (1)
asterisk (2) dagger (3) double dagger would become (1) * (2) ** (3) *** .
That's what I've been doing, anyway.
