Hi, Carrie. I'll have to look through the ones I've read to come up with a
list. That'll take me a while, but I'll find the ones I was referring to and
let you know...unless someone else has titles right off the top of their heads
that they can tell you about. Take care.

  Hi Julie,

Please tell me the names of the cookbooks you've downloaded with missing
titles. If I was the submitter, then I'll have a copy of the .rtf file that I
uploaded and I can resubmit it with duplicate recipe titles at the top of the
page. The stripper will delete one title and keep the other. (I know that the
stripper does that when the first word is 'chapter'. Sounds like you're saying
that it does the same thing if the first word is something else. Maybe I
should put the word 'chapter' in the top line to ensure that the line gets
deleted.)

  Thanks! Carrie

Hi, Pam. Actually, I don't think the stripper removes just repeated text.
I've downloaded cookbooks where the titles of recipes were removed, and
they're not repeated from page to page. I saw an explanation once where it
was said that was how the stripper was supposed to work, but I don't think
so...and I don't remember now who it was who said that. Take care.

But stripper or no stripper, I've seen books from bookshare with
garbage at the tops of pages. It isn't always removed because the same
garbage isn't repea ted, so it isn't recognized as headers.
