Hi E,

Romances do seem to be the dominate type of book that is submitted to email.
It could just be a reflection of the scanning population of Bookshare.

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] comments about step 1 books

I notice a lot of books held for weeks and weeks by the same person only to
be released. I know this happens for unavoidable reasons sometimes. I
have done it myself. But the more we each do this the less likely a
long-time-on-step-one book has of ever coming off step 1 and getting to the
validation cue.

Also, I notice the list seems to have lots and lots of romances on it which
seem to stay there. Perhaps we need to submit fewer romances for the
moment just until some of the current crop gets worked on. Just a
thought. (smile).

Peace,
E.
