[bksvol-discuss] Re: clarafication of Rui's lists

I am not Rui but I will jump in and explain the other 2 lists.

The No Book Left Behind list is a list of books that have been rejected. We the volunteers are the ones who contribute titles for this list. personally I have added quite a few. The purpose of keeping this list is so that someone will scan these books and add them to the collection. So if you're looking for something to scan check this list out. Perhaps something will peak your interest.

The rescan list is a list of books that readers stated that are of poor quality. That's why I'd like to see this list cleaned up by the end of the year.

Also if you have rescanned a book on these lists, please email booksharescans@xxxxxxx so that he can take the title off the list.

Remember the 2 lists described above are only as good as we the volunteers make it.

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Rui's UR: for the lists

Oh, dear. You mean I did it again? Forgot to include
what I said I would.

Here's the URL for the site where Rui keeps the lists:

http://members.cox.net/booksharescans

It isn't Rui's fault that the lists aren't always
up-to-date. He only puts on the lists what people
send to him. In the case of Marissa's List, that comes
from Gustavo at bookshare.org, as does the list of
Fair books in the collection. I'm not totally clear
what the other two lists are--books that were rejected
and should be rescanned, or books that are sitting on
the download list and have problems?

Hmmm I thougt someone said Rui's site isn't kept up
to date always. If it
is, can you just send me the link and I'll just keep
it in my book folder?
Thanks.
